02 · My Story
Born into a family of mountain guides.
My name is Radouane. I was born and raised in Imlil, in the heart of Morocco's High Atlas Mountains.
The mountains were part of my life from an early age. My grandfather and my father were both mountain guides, and through them I began to learn the trails, landscapes and traditions of the region.
Growing up around guides taught me that the mountains are more than a destination. They are a place to understand, respect and share with others.
The mountains were not something I discovered. They were where I grew up.
03 · More Than a Guide
The mountains are not just my workplace.
When I am not guiding, I am still exploring. Trekking, skiing, mountain adventures and time spent outdoors are simply part of life for me.

The mountains have always been a place for me to explore, not simply a place to work. Every season brings something different and another reason to head outside.
In winter, that might mean skiing and exploring mountain terrain. In other seasons, it can mean trekking, carrying a backpack into the mountains or discovering another trail.
Being in the mountains keeps me curious, active and connected to the place I call home.

04 · Guiding
Sharing the mountains is what I love most.
Guiding is more than leading the way. It is about understanding the terrain, paying attention to the people you are with and creating the space to enjoy the journey.
Growing up in Imlil gave me an intimate knowledge of the mountains around my home. Years spent exploring them have added another layer — knowing the routes, the seasons and the small details that make a day in the mountains special.
When I guide, I want people to experience more than a summit. I want them to see the landscape, meet the people, understand something about the place and enjoy the journey along the way.

05 · Why Talamrout
An idea born in Marrakech.
The idea for Talamrout Summit began when I was studying at university in Marrakech.
At the time, I worked with companies offering day trips from Marrakech to different places around the region. It was a good way to understand what visitors were looking for, but I also started noticing something: many of the experiences being offered were very similar.
Camel rides. Quad biking. Waterfalls. The same busy places and the same kind of day-trip itineraries.
I kept thinking that there had to be another way to experience the mountains.
People staying in Marrakech could be only a short drive away from the High Atlas, yet there were not many options for someone who simply wanted to spend a real day hiking in the mountains, walking through nature, seeing the villages and landscapes, and returning to Marrakech the same day.
That is where the idea for Talamrout Summit came from.
I wanted to create a different kind of day trip — one built around the mountain itself.
A real mountain day, for people staying in Marrakech who want to experience the Atlas differently.
